According to informed sources, Nscale will utilize NVIDIA's Vera Rubin chips, which are expected to go live by the end of next year. The entire Monarch facility is planned to have a capacity of about 1.35 gigawatts, with a total investment of approximately $71 billion, of which about $47 billion is allocated for AI chips. The remaining infrastructure is expected to start providing computing power in 2028. This project was originally intended to be leased by Microsoft, but Microsoft withdrew this summer, and Anthropic subsequently became the tenant. In recent months, Anthropic has also secured computing agreements worth $50 billion, $10 billion, and $45 billion with Fluidstack, Volta Infra, and SpaceX, respectively, to further lock in computing resources ahead of its IPO.

On August 27, Iranian Foreign Minister Amir-Abdollahian sent a letter to the UN Secretary-General, the Security Council, and UN member states, stating that the 'economic isolation measures' announced by the US on August 24 aim to force other countries to terminate their legitimate economic relations with Iran through secondary sanctions and restrictions on access to the US financial system, thereby extending US laws and policies beyond its borders.
