Currently, the team is in ongoing coordination with relevant authorities, SEAL 911, and several security researchers. Previously, reports from PeckShield indicated that Ostium's public OLP treasury was hacked, resulting in the theft of approximately 24 million USDC. The attacker subsequently exchanged these funds for about 12,080 ETH, of which 10,540 ETH has already been transferred to Tornado Cash.

Ostium stated that the team is continuously coordinating with relevant authorities, SEAL 911, and several security researchers, and will provide updates on the timeline for resuming smart contract activities and fund recovery. According to monitoring by PeckShield, approximately 24 million USDC from Ostium's public OLP treasury was stolen, and the attacker subsequently exchanged the funds for about 12,100 ETH, of which approximately 10,500 ETH has been transferred to Tornado Cash.

On July 15, the RWA perpetual contract trading platform Ostium on Arbitrum was attacked, with an estimated loss of $18 million. The attacker allegedly compromised the private keys of the oracle signer, using a registered PriceUpkeep relayer to submit favorable prices for future times and repeatedly opened and closed positions to deplete the treasury funds. Ostium officials have not yet responded.
