No computer was involved throughout the process. This Agent runs within PiChat, an iPhone chat application developed by Finn. It utilizes his previously open-sourced PiDurableKit and runs the Pi Agent on the phone via Apple's JavaScriptCore, which is responsible for model invocation, tool execution, and task management. The video features Claude Opus 5.5, with model inference still occurring in the cloud. To allow the Agent to continue working after switching to other apps, PiChat employs Apple's background task mechanism and uses SQLite to save execution progress, facilitating recovery after interruptions. However, the crucial cross-app control code has not yet been made public. When enabling iPhone Control in the video, the system prompts for the lock screen password to activate XCTest UI automation.
