The complaint alleges that Azalea promoted the token as having real-world utility, commercial integration, and ongoing development plans, but these promises were never truly fulfilled or only existed briefly. Specific allegations include that the online entertainment platform "MOTHERLAND" she promoted did not actually use the MOTHER token, but instead settled transactions using USDT. Her claimed business integrations for purchasing phones and plans were not reflected in a lasting or public manner on the relevant platforms. When introducing market makers to manage token trading, she failed to disclose related terms or risks to holders. The plaintiff claims to have lost "hundreds of dollars" investing in MOTHER. The token was launched in May 2024, peaking at a market value of over $136 million, but is currently valued at only $1.3 million. The lawsuit seeks compensation for buyers who suffered losses as a result. Azalea's representatives have not yet commented on the matter.
