Developer Bennett discovered this and reconstructed a significant amount of the core runtime code into readable TypeScript. However, this is not the complete source code of Grok Bot. While the core operational logic can be restored, the original source code of the front-end interface has not been leaked. What is currently available on GitHub is a version that Bennett reconstructed based on the code and debugging information from the official installation package. Additionally, Bennett modified the reconstructed version into a usable custom Grok Bot. The inference backend can switch to Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, and OpenRouter, and Cursor's remote sandbox can also be replaced with a local Docker.

On June 21, the MEV bot Jaredfromsubway.eth was attacked by hackers exploiting a vulnerability in its automated execution system. According to statistics from SlowMist, the loss incurred by the MEV bot is approximately $7.5 million (not $14 million or $15 million). The hackers profited from the MEV bot as follows: ~1,475 WETH, ~2,870,573 USDC, and ~2,035,760 USDT, totaling approximately $7.5 million.
