On August 19, CoinDesk reported that Ethena has formed a $1 billion credit partnership with digital asset prime broker FalconX, channeling collateral assets of the synthetic dollar USDe into the institutional credit sector. According to a Wednesday announcement, the financing will be used to fund over-collateralized loans initiated by FalconX, with applications including trading strategies, corporate cash management, and payments. The loan collateral will be held by a third-party custodian, with Ethena holding the first priority secured interest. FalconX will act as the loan originator, service provider, and collateral manager.

 according to Ethena Labs, its issued stablecoin USDe has now become an available quoting asset in the Hyperliquid spot market and the HIP-3 perpetual contract market.

 Anchorage Digital announced it will launch a rewards program for holders of USDtb and USDe, with rewards issued by the independent entity Anchorage Digital Neo Ltd. to remain compliant within the framework of the GENIUS Act's prohibition on stablecoin interest payments; this structure is designed to allow institutions to earn idle asset rewards while holding tokens on the Anchorage platform, and to provide a replicable compliance distribution path for U.S. stablecoin issuers.
