On September 23, the Wall Street Journal reported that the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) is investigating Kalshi for 'wash trading.' Allegations have surfaced that since August, traders on the prediction market Kalshi have executed nearly 1 million trades in the Ethereum futures market, with each trade amount being nearly identical.
