The selected team themes include stablecoin payments and cross-border settlements, on-chain foreign exchange and credit, new banking, institutional liquidity and market-making, digital asset privacy compliance and financial operations, AI agents and automated execution, on-chain financial consumption and enterprise interfaces, as well as AI-native security and creator infrastructure. YZi Labs manages assets exceeding $10 billion, with a portfolio that includes over 300 projects across Web3, AI, and biotechnology.

AI startup Emerald AI has announced the completion of a $150 million funding round, achieving a valuation of $1.05 billion. This round was led by DCVC and Energize Capital, with participation from Nvidia, Samsung Ventures, GE Vernova, Salesforce Ventures, and others. The company utilizes proprietary software to help data centers flexibly adjust their power consumption based on grid demand: reducing load during peak times and utilizing excess computing power during low periods, effectively alleviating the pressure on power supply from the surge in AI computing needs. Contracts have already been established in California and Virginia, and the company is collaborating with Nvidia, Oracle, and others for testing. Founder Sivalram stated that the goal is to transform data centers from being a 'burden on the grid' into flexible resources, addressing the backlash against data center construction in various regions.
