On August 25, U.S. President Trump stated: I just received notification from the U.S. Navy that all mines in the international waters of the Strait of Hormuz have been cleared and/or detonated. The U.S. has informed Iran that any vessels or ships laying new mines will be systematically destroyed immediately.
