什麼是 SKATE

Core Objectives

Skate’s primary mission is to unify the fragmented Web3 landscape by:

1. Simplifying Cross-Chain Interactions: Users can access dApps across multiple VMs without leaving their native chain.
2. Reducing Development Overhead: Developers deploy applications once, with Skate handling cross-chain complexities.
3. Enhancing Liquidity Utilization: A shared state ensures unified liquidity pools across all integrated chains.

Architectural Overview

Skate’s infrastructure operates through three interconnected layers:

1. Hub Chain

Serving as the central coordinator, the Hub Chain (an Ethereum Layer 2 network) manages the unified state and core logic for all connected peripheral chains. It utilizes dual data availability solutions—Avail and EigenDA—to ensure scalability and adaptability.

2. Preconfirmation AVS

Integrated with EigenLayer, this layer provides decentralized trust verification for cross-chain intents. Validators ensure tasks executed on peripheral chains are secure and final, penalizing malicious actors through cryptoeconomic mechanisms.

3. Kernel

The Kernel executes application logic in a VM-agnostic environment, enabling stateless dApps like prediction markets or decentralized exchanges (DEXs) to function uniformly across chains.
