On July 17, according to Onchain Lens monitoring, the Resolv Labs attacker has resumed transferring funds. This attacker previously stole approximately $25.9 million in assets back in March and has now resumed fund transfers. In just the past few hours, the attacker has transferred 580 ETH (approximately $1.09 million) and is continuing to obfuscate the funds through a mixer.

On May 27, the Resolv Foundation announced a comprehensive recovery framework following a protocol security incident. Previously, on March 22, 2026, the protocol experienced a security vulnerability attack that led to the illegal minting of USR tokens entering the market, prompting the protocol to suspend operations and enter recovery mode. Resolv stated that USR was designed as a 'high-tier' stable asset backed by collateral, while RLP served as an 'insurance layer' to absorb losses. According to the recovery plan, USR/wstUSR held before the attack will be exchanged at a 1:1 rate for USDC, while USR purchased after the attack will be processed at a rate of 1:0.5 USDC; RLP holders will recover approximately 60%+, with part of the compensation distributed in RESOLV tokens. The official compensation application window has been opened for three months. Meanwhile, Resolv announced the launch of a new business line, 'Vault Street,' managed by the Resolv Foundation, focusing on the distribution and structured yield products of tokenized real-world assets (RWA). The first product, primeUSD, has entered the private testing phase, open to professional institutional investors, allowing users to participate in leveraged U.S. Treasury yield strategies through stablecoins. Resolv stated that this product combines structured financing experience from traditional finance with on-chain DeFi infrastructure, aiming to build an institutional-grade RWA yield distribution platform. Additionally, the functionality of the RESOLV token remains unchanged, with staking and unstaking features restored, and reward distribution resumed on May 26. Resolv emphasized that it will continue to advance the expansion of Vault Street products, upgrade security architecture, and build institutional-grade asset on-chain infrastructure, stating that 'the phase from protocol launch to security incident has ended, and Vault Street will open a new chapter for Resolv.'

On March 31, Resolv co-founder Ivan provided the latest update on the protocol security incident and recovery process, addressing the following issues: Why whitelisted USR users were prioritized for redemption: Verified wallets allow the team to manually operate within 24 hours, thereby limiting further impact on the broader market. Currently, these redemptions are 98% complete. How non-whitelisted USR holders will be handled: A commitment to 1:1 redemption is also promised. The team is finalizing the technical solution for the redemption process. Was there any internal manipulation of the incident: Investigations are ongoing. No evidence of internal involvement has been found so far. How to address the situation for USR holders, LPs, and RLP holders post-incident: Next steps involve legal, technical, and ecosystem coordination with numerous partners. There is currently no single obvious solution—only a series of trade-offs. Resolv's goal is to find the most balanced outcome.
