Meanwhile, Bitcoin's price returned above the short-term whale realization price of around $68,900, with BTC trading close to $77,700 on August 23, about 12.8% higher than the total cost basis of the 'new whales.' If BTC can maintain above the whale cost basis of around $70,000 and profit-taking gradually returns to normal levels, it would indicate that new demand is effectively absorbing the distribution pressure, providing a basis for the continuation of the rebound. Conversely, if profit realization remains high and the price falls below this cost basis again, this rebound may resemble a 'breakeven exit rebound,' with previously trapped holders turning into selling pressure once more.
