Tharwa’s primary objective is to democratize access to high-yield, low-volatility investment vehicles traditionally reserved for institutional players. The ecosystem comprises four interconnected pillars:

2.1. thUSD Stablecoin

Backed by a diversified RWA basket (gold, UAE real estate, oil, U.S. Treasury bills), thUSD operates as a yield-bearing stablecoin with a 1:1 USD peg. Its economic cycle—USD → thUSD → RWA investments → USD—ensures liquidity while generating returns from tangible assets, contrasting sharply with fiat-backed stablecoins’ negligible yields. Minting and redemption occur through whitelisted gateways, with arbitrage mechanisms enforcing peg stability.

2.2. Risk-On Vaults

Users deposit stablecoins (including thUSD) into AI-managed vaults, receiving ERC-1155 receipt tokens representing discounted bond-like positions. Vaults offer tiered annual percentage yields (APYs) and maturities (90–1,461 days), catering to risk-averse and yield-seeking investors alike. At maturity, principal and yield redeem in thUSD, with performance fees (10–20%) funding protocol revenue.

2.3. sthUSD Passive Yield Distribution

Yield from RWA investments distributes monthly via sthUSD, a yield-accruing token. Net yield (after deducting risk-free rates) vests to all sthUSD holders, creating a passive income stream without lockup periods. This model outperforms conventional stablecoins by directly channeling real-world yields to users.

2.4. OTC Marketplace and Governance

An over-the-counter (OTC) marketplace enables peer-to-peer thUSD trading, enhancing liquidity and enabling arbitrage. Protocol fees from secondary trades and vault operations fund buybacks and revenue sharing for $TRWA stakers. Governance rights activate through $TRWA staking, allowing votes on parameters like fee structures and asset allocations.
