It is reported that the CFTC approved the first batch of digital asset perpetual contracts for trading in the U.S. in May and publicly sought opinions on energy perpetual contracts in June. Since its launch in October 2025, the WTI, Brent crude oil, and Henry Hub natural gas markets deployed by Trade [XYZ] have accumulated a trading volume of over $50 billion. The letter proposes five recommendations: technology-neutral regulation, recognition of around-the-clock trading, clarification of continuous market time limit rules, allowing stablecoins as eligible margin, and permitting the use of on-chain infrastructure, emphasizing that the implementation of this product does not require new legislation.
