The project aimed to provide a solution for reliable and secure communication, particularly in environments where accessing traditional internet connectivity is either impractical or impossible.

The core features of BunkerCoin included:

• Recursive Zero-Knowledge Proof Hash Function: This advanced cryptographic technique ensures the integrity of each transaction, allowing users to confirm the validity of the data exchanged without revealing the information itself.

• Verifiable Delay Function (VDF): A key component that facilitated miners in identifying a 'golden ticket' for block validation, adding an additional layer of uniqueness and security to the blockchain process.

• Optimised for Shortwave Transmissions: With a maximum transmission unit (MTU) of 300 bytes, BunkerCoin was specifically designed to work efficiently in low-bandwidth scenarios, enhancing the possibilities for secure communications across challenging mediums.

• Erasure-Coded Frames: These frames provided a safeguard against data loss, ensuring that information remained intact and accessible even when technical obstacles arose.
