U.S. President Trump announced an agreement with Russian President Putin, stating that Russia will immediately supply over 300,000 tons of diesel to the U.S. and global markets, with an additional 500,000 tons in November, followed by another 1 million tons, and a total supply of 3 million tons in the short term. This move is expected to lead to a rapid decline in global diesel prices.

On October 10, the New York Times reported, citing two informed sources, that U.S. President Trump has selected conservative commentator Katie Zacharia as the new White House Press Secretary, succeeding Karoline Leavitt, who left the position in August. Zacharia currently serves as a communications advisor for the Trump Media & Technology Group, which operates the 'Truth Social' platform. She previously had a brief stint as a spokesperson for former Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and frequently appears as a guest on conservative media programs. The White House has not yet responded to this announcement.

According to CoinDesk, Robinhood Chain, a Layer 2 blockchain designed for tokenizing real-world financial assets, is assessing a transaction ordering system that allows users to pay fees for prioritizing specific transactions. This technology is developed by Arbitrum, the infrastructure provider for Robinhood Chain. Sources indicate that Arbitrum's previously launched paid transaction ordering technology, Time Boost, provided users with a 200-millisecond priority advantage but was replaced on September 24 by a new Priority Gas Auctions model, which allows traders to pay higher fees for prioritizing individual transactions. Robinhood Chain is currently evaluating this new version. At present, Robinhood Chain employs a first-come, first-served transaction ordering strategy and has not utilized Arbitrum's original Time Boost application. Since its launch on the Ethereum-compatible network in July, Robinhood Chain has rapidly gained popularity, entering the top ten blockchains ranked by total value locked. Robinhood's traditional brokerage business has long profited through 'payment for order flow,' where market makers pay brokers for the routing rights of customer orders. The mechanism of on-chain paid transaction priority differs, as it provides traders with an advantage by accelerating transaction processing speeds, helping professional institutions compete for fleeting trading opportunities.
