On October 7, CryptoQuant analyst Darkfost stated that since August, after excluding Bitcoin (BTC) that has not moved for over 10 years, the proportion of BTC in a profitable state has consistently remained around 60%. This segment of long-dormant BTC is currently in deep profit and has low liquidity, with a significant portion likely lost. Therefore, excluding these BTC provides a more accurate reflection of the current market state. Most BTC has re-entered the profit zone, but from a medium to long-term perspective, the market is still far from overheating. Current investors are faced with choices of holding, taking profits, or exiting positions at limited losses, especially for some positions held for nearly a year. In this context, it is not surprising that BTC continues to fluctuate around current levels, with future trends still dependent on supply and demand dynamics.
